CC & Tink, that sounds great. Noi won't get off work until 8 though. I'll let her know, maybe she can come after work. She found another xjw at work who recently moved the the area. The more the merrier

    Hi!

I just wanted to check in and see if anyone is welcome to attend there in Rivergate at O'Charley's or if it is just for some. I don't want to invite myself if it is just for a few people to attend and not open to all of us. Thank you :)

Wow man we used to go to that O'Charley's sometimes after the thursday night meeting. Major Wallaby's (sp?) was preferred though.

Just had to ask: Did anyone from this area know JWs with the last name of FAILLA? Chris, Gerry, Lee, Denise, Christine, Martin, Kathy and Jason. I'd really love to know.............

Sunspot, that name doesn't ring a bell with me, but that doesn't mean that their not in the area though.

TattooMom, You're more than welcome to come!!!! I'd love to meet'cha!

Julien, oh yes, ol Major Wallaby's!!!! I remember well! Major Wallaby's is now under new ownership and it's called Safari's. Going there after the Thursday night meeting was the only thing that I looked forward to on Thursday nights! lol Yeah, we knew how to live! lol If you're in Nashvagas then, try to come, k! Next time you're in town, holler at me and we'll hook again and catch up on things! Would love to meet the Misses

Guys, would Sunday the 8th be better than the 7th? That way, maybe it would be better for Noieda. I gotta see that Goober and if she's working that night, she may be too tired. I've gotta give her a hug and a pat on the back, I'm so proud of her!

Everyone is more than welcome to come please come, everyone is welcome, more than welcome! There wont be any shunning at this gathering!!!

I'll bring my digital camera too, and take pic's.

So which day would be best for everyone, Sat. or Sun. ? Holler back and let me know!!!!!

My first apostate party, I'm so excited!!!! lol

p.s. myself, I'm gonna call Rose and see if she will give me Traci's number. I'm also gonna call a few others also, like Wayne Meadows dad and Darlene Hall's dad and see if I can get their numbers. And if anyone know's a Paul Taylor that lived in the Chattanooga area, I would like to contact him too, let me know!

Hope to see you all there!!!!! Looking forward to it!!!

Tink, Sat the 7th might be better for me but I can make it either night. I told Noi about the meet up and she wants to try to make it.

I haven't talked to Darlene in years. I wasn't sure if she is active or not. Our girls played together when I lived in Lebanon, I miss her. Really hate that I lost track of Tracy too.

Sunspot, I knew the Failla's, Martin is an elder in Pulaski TN. Gerry died a few years ago of cancer. I am not sure of the rest of the family status.

"Sunspot, I knew the Failla's, Martin is an elder in Pulaski TN. Gerry died a few years ago of cancer. I am not sure of the rest of the family status."

    Thanks for replying, My.

Kathy called me the day after Gerry died, but that's the last I heard from any of them. I don't even know Kathy's married name----or any of the girls for that matter! Of course they wouldn't speak to me now, anyway.

Gerry "brought me into" the JWs, in door-to-door work in 1969, in Springfield, MA. They moved to TN the same week we moved to upstate NY in '74. We were very close and kept in touch by letters and phone calls until she got really sick.

I think Kathy said she had brought 67 ladies to baptism.......both my best and dearest friends were strong JWs and both died of cancer.....as much as it hurts, and as much as I miss them, it was probably for the best, cuz it would hurt even WORSE if they were alive and shunned me, ya know?

Sorry to run on like that.......

BTW, Gerry's brother, (nonJW) in Milwaukee? where she was brought up, was the voice of Morris the Cat on the TV commercials...the kids (mine and hers) got such a kick out of that when the commercials were on......

    Thanks again,

    hugs,

    Annie

Myself, then the 7th it is! Later this week, I'm going to make a few phone calls and see if I can get ahold of a few Traci and Darlene.

Noidea, I hope you can make it too. I must here the details of your departure! I hope you are doing okay! =:o)

So guys, we'll see you all the 7th of Sept. at O'Charlies, Rivergate. Does 4 p.m. sound good with everybody?
