Hi Carmel,
I'm from SW Washington State, haven't made any firm plans, but you never know what may come up with us ex dubs around here. Had a great informal get together with 7 of us last August up on Mt. Rainier. What a blast!! Celebrated 3 Aug. birthdays and made new friends and memories.
Where abouts are you at?

I live in Astoria, Or, just a stones throw across the river from Wa. I have property up on the Olympic Peninsula so I pay taxes in both states!!
I see where there is a gathering planned for the 3rd and 4th of August, I believe in the Seattle area. I'm planning on going for part of one day depending on circumstances. I'll post the particulars if the person I questions sends more info.

Wanna hear something funny? We own land in Astoria so have to pay taxes in both states. BTW I'm in Longview.
Going on vacation to CA in early Aug. so won't be able to attend the gathering then. Try to make it if you can, sounds like fun.

Do you ever go down to the first Monday gatherings in Portland. A Kieth Carasona, hosts an event every first monday. I haven't been able to attend one yet.
BTW, I was in Longview yesterday to pick up some goodies at Home Depot.

Hi Katheryn,
Sorry to hear you won't be able to come up for the get together in early August. I had such a great time in Mt. Rainer with all of you last year. It was my first time celebrating my B-day...I'll never forget it. It was so nice to meet your girls, hope they are all doing great.

I think about everyone from Astoria must come to Longview to shop, isn't that Home Depot great? My hubby and I are taking our girls there tomorrow (Sat.) for a craft class. Of course I wish we had a Costco like you do there!
