Last night my sister-in-law asked my kids why they haven't been attending meetings. She cornered them individually. She asked my son and he said no he has not been attending meetings and that he has been doing some research and that he didn't believe it was the truth. She said you've been reading apostate literature, he tried to tell her no that wasn't the case, she said well I won't be inviting you to anymore gatherings with the friends.

Then she asked my daughter (my daughter is not even baptised) if she was attending meetings she said no and she said the same thing about not inviting her places and that she hated to loose a niece. What a terrible thing to say to a kid.

    Sorry (((lv4fer & kids))))

As RR says its her loss and maybe one day she will realize it and come around. Your right its was a terrible thing for her to say to your kids.

My sister is the same, we havent seen her in over a year, in fact my youngest probably would have no idea who she is.

I have a JW sister-in-law, she and her family treat us like lepers. Funny thing is, we have never been DF'd, she is the only baptized member of her family, her sisters and brothers aren't baptized and treat us like lepers.

Funny thing is, she married an unbeliever, my brother. She gave birth six months after she got married, hmmm .... do the math.

Her oldest sister has five kids, all different fathers, I call her Ms UN", their all different nationalities.

The last time I saw them was at a birthday party, yep, that's right a birthday party.

So I have a niece and nephew I really don't know, but it's their loss, not mine!

    sister-in-laws....ain't they special.

like...who the hell do some people think they are?
why don't they just go about their business
and let the rest of us go about ours...

why do they feel the need/authority
to "put us in our place" or
    tell us off or whatev.

    screw 'em.

Don't you just love the warmth, love, and not to mention christian kindness oozing from witnesses. Hey, where can I sign up? It is just so sad, so damn sad.

    Hey, what you talkin?

Count your blessings, brother: you never were a Witness, and now you have a fantastic wife that is all out addicted to your love!

Oh yeah, when it all gets nutty, just meditate on the image of 7 or 8 wrinkled old fools strapped to their hospice beds at Patterson, bellies full of ensure, respirators emitting a restful hum-thump-fooo, hum-thump-fooo....

You know, if they had sent a few young thugs to school for science instead of sending them all to law school, they could at least be trying to clone the lyrical Freddie Franz...then they might have some new study material.

((((((hugs))))) sorry to hear that Lv4fer.

I hope your kids realize that they arent losing out on anything by not being invited to their gatherings. They should know that she is blinded and brainwashed and just plain wrong to treat them that way.

They have you and they dont need her.
