How do the Governing Body hear the Voice Of Jehovah their Corporation Sock Puppet? How Do they know Jehovah's moods? Sad, indifferent, joyious, melancholy, pensive and so forth? It is amazing that they know so much about their invisible imaginary Deity and sock puppet or is it?

What kind of psychological projections does this reveal about the delusional Governing Body/Faithful and Discreet Slave of God(sic).

We often debate on here how sincere the GB might be as to belief. The thing is that they know they don't talk to Jehovah, they know they are inventing it when they say something makes him "sad" or whatever.

Yes, they probably are deluded enough to believe a lot of their own Bulls**t, but when it comes to stuff like this, they know they are making it up.

They must justify these lies somehow in their mind, as they do their other lies.

They have no integrity, that is for sure.

I am not so certain. Plenty of people delude themselves about being an instrument of God. Lars, Shelby and others used this forum to spread their message. I live where people are psychologically savvy and endlessly introspective. Two hours away in a Mennonite Bible belt of Pennsylvania, it would be quite normal for people to claim direction from God. There are a lot of controlling people in my life. When I was in college, law school, and practice, the way to influence was not to control. Sometimes people feel like is too chaotic and believe control is the answer. On the Briggs-Meyer test, I showed up as a field marshall. I could not believe my eyes. I assumed control of the fire department from my apartment when I thought a fireman was going to die across the street. My family field marshalling started when no adult addressed the abuse.

I find it sickening to believe you are God's exclusive channel. A lot of this is cultural. Being a channel is one thing. An exclusive channel with how many billion in the world and how many thousands of years. So many reformers were executed. England had martyrs on both sides. When I read about Protestants in the Tudor court, they were in touch with Protestants in Europe. Does anyone know if old debates are available? Do we know the internal workings during any time period? It seems as though we only know what ended up in court.

That's a surprisingly easy habit to fall into when you surround yourself only with people who are never allowed to disagree with you.

Especially when they label anyone who doesn't agree as an agent of Satan and marked for disfellowshipping for committing an unforgivable sin and seperated from beleiving family. This leaves them with no one to question their sanity or logic in the claims they make about themselves driving God's Organization.

These guys are loonie toons bat shit crazy and nobody can question them sad very sad really

I suppose the GB don't actually hear Jehovah whispering what their next moves should be in directing his "Organization" or publishing company that is trying to eke out a profit in the prining business.

Instead they base their claims of how Jehovah is feeling about thing using their inperpetation of bible passages:

Yes according to the GB Jehovah has an emotional processer similar to the human Limpic System.

Attentional and emotional processes [ edit ]

Besides memory, the amygdala also seems to be an important brain region involved in attentional and emotional processes. First, to define attention in cognitive terms, attention is the ability to hone in on some stimuli while ignoring others. Thus, the amygdala seems to be an important structure in this ability. Foremost, however, this structure was historically thought to be linked to fear, allowing the individual to take action to rid that fear in some sort. However, as time has gone by, researchers such as Pessoa, [21] generalized this concept with help from evidence of EEG recordings, and concluded that the amygdala helps an organism to define a stimulus and therefore respond accordingly. However, when the amygdala was initially thought to be linked to fear, this gave way for research in the amygdala for emotional processes. Kheirbek [13] demonstrated research that the amygdala is involved in emotional processes, in particular the ventral hippocampus. He described the ventral hippocampus as having a role in neurogenesis and the creation of adult-born granule cells (GC). These cells not only were a crucial part of neurogenesis and the strengthening of spatial memory and learning in the hippocampus but also appear to be an essential component in the amygdala. A deficit of these cells, as Pessoa (2009) predicted in his studies, would result in low emotional functioning, leading to high retention rate of mental diseases, such as anxiety disorders.

    Does Jehovah Have Feelings?

IF THE answer is yes, then another question arises: Does our conduct affect God’s feelings? That is, can we by our actions cause God to feel happy or hurt? Some ancient philosophers said no. They argued that no one can influence God and that God must therefore be incapable of feeling. But the Bible gives a different picture, namely, that Jehovah has tender feelings and deeply cares about what we do. Consider the words found at Psalm 78:40, 41.

The GB publicly admit that " there is no hole above their meeting desk." What do the R&F continue to believe?? As one brother said last night, " Jehovah tells the GB what to write in the Watchtower." So... They admittedly shelve ideas, why?? In case what "Jehovah" tells them to print this year, is wrong in 5 years. So either they make sh** up as they go along and let JWs believe it's from Jeehoober, or Jeehoober is wrong all the time.

I always wondered, if big J is guiding the thinking of the GB/WTBTS, then why don't they all automatically and simultaneously receive the same information at the same time? Why would they need to 'vote' or have a majority to approve or change dogma? Now that I know WHY, I don't wonder any longer.

"The truth will set you free"

    just saying!

I wondered about this when I was in, how the FDS got the information for the Watchtower but it seemed to be taboo, no one talked about it. Can't believe I didn't pursue the question now. Think we had a vague idea all the anointed sent in ideas that had been given them but that was when they believd the FDS was all of the remnant not just the governing body.
