The internet is fundementaly the construct of one great mind.He must have been Iinspired by the holy spirit in order for the good news to be preached in all the earth as jesus commanded

Its fast and reliable, which points to the urgency of the getting the good news of the kingdom which is very close now to all corners of the earth.

The satellites on which they rely where there is no hard connection are also inspired as they are a conduit for their operation in the darkest corners of the earth.

The ipad is a gift for the WT, it allows them to change wordings in an instant. Hard copies are harder to deny, ipad screenshots saved, can be claimed as counterfit, eaisly.

Just watch for the changes NOW. I predict a boatload of them confusing the he11 out of the R&F ( which keeps them under even more control)

I know what you mean smiddy, but look at it this way: The Bible was not written as a book, that's "new" technology when you compare it to scrolls. So, from a person using scrolls, the introduction of the Bible as a book was something new. Will be the Bible as sacred printed in books rather than in scrolls?

My point is that the medium does not make any difference. The content does.

I think the up and coming generations will be accepting of media delivered in digital format more than current ones. Its just a matter of time. I am not defending the use of iPads or not however I used them at the meetings that I still attend and find it extremely convenient as do more and more people. Sure there will always be die hard paper users but technology forges ahead.

I could not care less whether a traditional Bible or an ipad. The iPad would let you see several translations at once. You could take notes.

This has to be a gamble for the Wt.. The more people learn to find information on the internet, the more chance people will find questions that the WT. cannot answer.

Personally, I like the option of reading the Bible online and in a book form. I like reading JW.net
