What do you think would happen to an individual that invented
a system that could convert water for fuel, to be used instead of
oil. Water used for your auto. What would that do to the economy???
Ok, lets take Jesus. His first miracle, water into wine.
Jesus had to be the most popular guy around or the most
hated individual. Alcoholics would love him, but farmers would hate him.
Why farm grapes, wheat and taverns would be out of business if
word got out. Take your glass of water to Jesus and he will turn it into wine or beer.
His next miracle, the fish and bread feeding 5000. Ok this would create
an economy collapse. Fishermen, you don't need a big catch for day, wheat
farmers, their livelihood is down the drain.
The Roman Empire, it would have a large effect on it's economy. Roman
officials would have locked Jesus up (goose with the golden egg) and
threw away the keys. With Jesus under lock and key and with that kind
of power, hell the Roman Empire would still be standing today.

Stanley Meyer's "water fuel cell". In 1940 he claimed that an automobile
retrofitted with the device could use water as fuel instead of gasoline.
It was found to be fraudulent in 1966. But one still wonder....

Chloroplasts effortlessly ease apart water molecules in photosynthesis.
If scientists can ever fathom out how to manufacture that enzyme our energy problems are solved forever.

I thought it was because he was showing off by killing fig trees, which steals from widows and travellers, and killing thousands of pigs, which wrecks the local economies.
