You are also urged to keep attending the boasting sessions, reading the littera-trash, and listen to the hounders. That means that nice yellow umbrella (visible in traffic, not "appropriate" for field circus because it isn't drab) is to be replaced with a gray one (and hopefully it blows inside out in a light wind, ruining it). That nice pale yellow shirt with the brown or light blue suit is taboo, because you need a white one. That nice LED light bulb (that doesn't burn your house down when it goes bad) is not appropriate because it might stumble someone (never mind you got it for under 7 toilet papers). Instead, you need that squiggly thing that will burn your house down when it dies. If Brother Hounder doesn't like that Fenix LD22 flashlight you got, or those Eneloop batteries you got for it, so you won't be left in the dark in a blackout, you may be asked to throw it away or get a cheap crap one that is more a toy than a tool.
Then you sat through a long winded prayer.
