The Ancestors used to refer to this type weather as the Easter Snap.
It's cold and rainy.
My teenage granddaughter is sullen and hostile.
My little JW daughter is cool and aloof.
I am so happy for this forum.
Thanks, people.

Ahh!
i see... So it's literally bad weather, and metaphorically bad too I see judging by the moods of those close to you?
hang in there... The sun always rises eventually snowbird.
Hi snowbird
I have a teenage daughter so am very familiar with sullen and hostile
I like to use the type of days you described to withdraw into myself and gather my energy for the beautiful sunny days that are to come. Barbeques/beaches/picnics can be tiring so rest now! Make a nice cup of tea/have a glass of wine, ignore the moods of those around you and try to enjoy!
Yes, literally and metaphorically.
LOL.
Ecclesiastes 1:5 - The sun also rises ..
The name of a Hemingway novel ...
Thanks, Stuck.

Hello! I'm at lake Martin today looking at the boat getting rained on. This is supposed to be our spring break, but it sure doesn't feel like spring.
Yeah, it seems to be nasty all over Alabama today, MITM.
Things are looking up, though.
The Sullen One is making me a second cup of tea.
Tee hee hee.

The nastiness continues ...
