When the WT corporation pays out millions in the Conti case I would expect to hear about kingdom hall being sold in order to keep cash flow positive. This should prove to be a real interesting 100 year anniversary of Jesus supposedly invisible presents or should I say more accurately Lack of Presents/Parousia. Perfect timing for the shit to hit the fan if you ask me.
CANDACE CONTI & THE NEW CONTRIBUTION DEMAND

The Searcher - "...if fluctuating donations suddenly become a guaranteed income via pledges, then doesn't that give the Org a very powerful hand if/when they want or need to negotiate finance for expansion of their Real Estate empire - or pedophile payouts?"
Nice bit of deduction, there, Holmes.
The WTS is reactive, not proactive, so this would go a long way towards explaining it.

Very nice, Searcher. It makes sense, even though it may be a band-aid on a gaping wound for the WTBTS. How will they enforce the arrangements? Throug guilt and fear.
Imagine if every family [ not including 3rd world countries] gave $5 a month. There are probably 30 families in my KH, so that's 30x$5x 12 months = $1800 per year. There are multiple Congregations sharing a building as well, 3 to be exact. So now we have $5400.00 per year from only 3 Congregations. That $5 figure is low, and I did not count older widows and single people. We KNOW they will get more than $5 per month from a family.
Enforcement and the financial survey will go hand in hand. If the Eldubs KNOW what you can afford to give, compared to what you are giving..that's where the Local Needs come into play. We had a ton of those in a row because we were not paying our bills. It was a huge love/guilt trip. When you factor in the big A being just around the corner, the dubs will cough up the cash. Also, I can see the Elders carrying out the command to "tactfully" inform family heads that they are not meeting their pledged amount. I don't think the Eldubs will ever "adjust" the pledged amount [ not ot a lower amount] if the friends can't meet it, and the WTBTS knows this. The Eldubs will just keep harping on the flock and the amounts will fluctuate some, but remain steady. If the friends meet the pledge easily, then is that really a sacrifice???

I'm speculating another tie to the Candace Conti outcome and the new tithe arrangement. I believe that the watchtower is going to use local congregation corporations and shell corporations to hold financial assets in the forms of Kingdom Halls and other real estate. It would shield the money from lawsuits, while serving as a surreptitious investment.
I'm still examing it, but how I see the scam working is that the Watchtower donates money to local congregation corporations to build Kingdom Halls. At any point where the Watchtower wants to cash out they can simply dissolve the congregation, have the local congregation corporation sell the property and then donate the money back to the Watchtower. If the local congregation balks at this, the Watchtower can, as in Menlo Park, simply delete the uncooperative elders and replace them with loyalists willing to follow the Watchtower's instruction.
I suspect that the withering printing company is ready to double-down on real estate investments in a big way.
Things to watch for:1.) Expansion of the Society's Real Estate Department
2.) An increase in Kingdom Hall builds.
3.) Kingdom Halls being built in areas that project good investment opportunities as opposed to African jungles where the locals are stacked on top of each other in a pole barn.
3.) Purchases of real estate in major cities to expand the JW.ORG branded stores worldwide.
4.) The construction of super-sized assembly halls to take the place of rented arenas for reigional conventions.
5.) Modifications to Kingdom Hall designs to make them more attractive to buyers. (Windows were a good start!)
6.) Continuing to shift away from printed publications with a focus toward JW.ORG and digital publications.
Well, that's my best Kreskin. Let's see how it goes. -

Of course the WT has already lost money on their main source of cash inflow namely the printing business, nobody wants to pay for something you can down load for free. I'm sure with all the dumbing down and low incomes contribution are not that good. So we see mass lay offs of COs and DOs, bethelites, and smaller cheaper publications.
These lawsuits and reputation loss comming from these lawsuits are haveing their effect even now but pretty soon it will get far worse as these CEOs of watchtower corporation put their trust in imaginary deities and wishful thinking to save them.

Alarmist title.
They cannot demand contributions. That's an oxymoron.
Contributions are voluntary; donations.
Even pledges are unenforceable.

No matter which way you look at it they are going to rob the Congregations of their moneys to pay these debts. The question is: How will all this look when they submit to an independent audit?

Being efficient is important in life. Can't we just send the contribution cash directly to Candace?
