Faithful and Discreet slave class. Challenge the definition

OK, so we all know that the basis the org uses for its power, authority, and supposed ability to speak on behalf of God is Matt 24:45

"who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics to give them their food at the proper time?"

BUT how can it possibly define the WT org?

I mean, just because they say it means them doesnt make it true! And it certainly doesnt give them the power they make it out to be... It simply speaks of a christian being blessed by Jesus for taking care of fellow christians...

How can they have based a whole religion and its power on this single verse?

It works because people believe them.

When a person finally admits to himself that the WT and it's leadership is not being used by Jesus or God (at all), it's all over (but the crying).

When seen with respect to the Governing Body it's chicanery! It is a way for them to assert their authority over their igorant believers and climb on their backs to control them. Unless very naive anyone can see through this ruse. Above all check their works to see if they match their claims of being faithful and obidient and they do not, they are neither faithful nor obedient!!! In fact their actions remind us strongly of the evil slave, they monopolise authority in what they claim is God's organisation and will quickly expell anyone that challenges their monopolistic policies.

What is interesting to me is that if you consider the surrounding context and also a few other translations of this scripture it begins to seem that what Jesus was asking was actually a rhetorical question.

"Who are faithful and wise servants?" - Contemporary English Version

"Are you a wise and faithful servant of the Lord?" - Living Bible

"A faithful, sensivle servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility..." New Living Translation

So, that's how I see it.

Is it a prophesy or a parable? When Mt 24:45 is read in context with Mt 24:36-51, it seems to be more of a rhetorical question for followers of Jesus Christ to treat people as Jesus Christ taught instead of abusing people.

Have a close look to Luke:

(Luke 12:41, 42) 41 Then Peter said: “Lord, are you saying this illustration to us or also to all?” 42 And the Lord said: “Who really is the faithful steward, the discreet one, whom his master will appoint over his body of attendants to keep giving them their measure of food supplies at the proper time?

Translated into the revised doctrine (WT 2013-07-15):

(Luke 12:41, 42) 41 Then Peter said: “Lord, are you saying this illustration to us or also to all?” 42 And the Lord said: “Not to you, not to all. Only to a small goup of older men in Brooklyn in the year 2013."
