It raises a few questions:
Who will actually 'work' there? Will it be genuine workers or a label given to some WTS higher-up to have a nice luxury retirement home? Will the people who work there be the ones who decided it needed to be purchased?
Does it make sense to have the people who will be doing translation work there and not, ooh ... in the offices they already have (where they actually print things?) or much more cost-efficient offices elsewhere (I'm pretty sure you pay a lot for a luxury sea-view).
Can it even be converted to offices - it seems to be ideal as a luxury residential property with all those bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms and there are often planning laws to prevent this. The property descrption is all about the luxury living and the view - if something isn't advertised as 'great office space' then is it?
Does it represent value for money for the people who's contributions paid for it? Will they even be told about it? Aren't the supposed to be a charity?
Why are they closing buildings in other (often poorer) parts of the world, evicting long-established workers and at the same time investing in luxury property like this that will 'benefit' a select few?
Who choses who the select few are?
