They aren't after your money. They are after your soul.
What they are really doing is what a boa constrictor does when killing prey. The snake binds the prey tighter and tighter, even when the prey is not going to get away, to ensure that it dies. In the same way, the washtowel is binding the prey (the members) tighter and tighter, trying to ensure they cannot leave the cancer. They are made poor, and they view being poor as a virtue. Even their own audio drama has segments about comparing living where you have bills to living in the jungle. Someone who is going to be laid off unless they work on boasting session nights is told to put their feet down on the boss--and not worry about the outcome. Well, idiots, there are no cars, no electricity, and no supermarkets in the jungle--and people often live off the land. Try that in the big city.
They are playing that, if people seek poverty, they are going to program their souls to be poor. That is why they are told to sell out, and then waste their assets on stupid things. Then they are supposed to give more. All this does is programs their souls into debt, and that is what the washtowel really wants. Even if the washtowel was doing fine financially, they would be trying to squeeze their prey into damnation because that is what joke-hova assigned them to do. They die poor, and they bring that poverty mindset into their next lives and have a miserable time trying to get out of it. And that sets them up to be enslaved in the next life, and beyond. Perfect for joke-hova to harvest their souls.
