i live in a very small trading area. I look at it the way that what goes around comes around. The guy that sells cars at the local dealer where I buy all my vehicles does business with the same people I do business with. I don't want the reputation of being someone that is hard to do business with. Maybe it's crazy or I'm crazy but I believe that in the long run it is sometimes better to pay more. In fact the last vehicle I picked up at my local dealer I ran into a guy who I knew but had never done business with and I picked up a contract that will pay for almost 25% of my vehicle. Pretty sweet. If I had been more price concious I would have bought the truck in the city where prices are generally lower and may have missed out on the job.
I used to be very price concious but I now believe that the most valuable commodity we have is our time. Since I have adopted this attitude I have made way more money than I ever did before.
