Does anyone know what is going on with this? I am on the court mailing list but there has been a deafening silence on the subject. I know the wheels of the legal process grind slowly but has anyone got any insider info?

I spoke with Simons last week concerning the length of time. He said there was no action and did not feel this case is on a slow track. It seems to be a long time to me.

The appeals court oral arguments have not been scheduled yet.

Appeals can sometimes take a couple of years to be heard. Don't lose heart!
I truly believe that the Kingdom Hall and congregation bank account takeovers are related to this case ... and others around the world. These are court cases that the Org. is preparing to lose.

The Society was required to post a bond for the Conti case so the award is secure if she wins the appeal(s). However all the other cases that are sitting on the sidelines might find that the WTS has NO assets in the US to seize. I suspect all the billion$ of revenue from the Brooklyn sell-off and congregation donations will be maneuvered into safe, untouchable off-shore accounts.
Yep, the WTS will be BROKE....
so all you lawyers for the victims can **** off.
