  Gotta love the internet... you can find out the Watchtower deception in minutes. This is an awesome example of cherrypicking:

  Just had to Google this (gwynne dyer "World war I - simply")
  
  See how the quote was taken way out of context, and how the author originally admitted that WWI and the 20th century was no worse than the 13th.

  There you go with your critical thinking skills. Anytime WT quote someone the whole article can be found on the internet to see if they quote mined. If we read something particularly powerful from the WT and feel it is credible all we need to do is research the quote.
