The example of Switzerland does require some further discussion when it comes to firearm violence.
With a firearm possession rate of 45.7 guns per 100 people, it does have one of the higher rates of firearm ownership in the world. (Although in the case of Switzerland, the term "ownership" is rather elastic. At least 420 000 of these firearms are the SG 550 assault rifles on issue to Switzerland's citizen soldiers, and which each militia member is required to store at home - albiet, though, without the ammunition).
It is frequently stated, that, despite these facts, Switzerland has a low rate of firearm violence. In actual fact, its rate of 0.77 firearm-caused homicides per 100 000 of the population is rather high for a developed country. Furthermore, the other developed country that has a similar rate of firearms ownership to Switzerland, i.e. Finland, has also a similar rate of firearms-caused homicides.

"popular" kids. He was jealous and a malcontent, his video has him plotting
evil against both men and women"piles of skulls" he talks about. His father was
one of the Directors of the Hunger Games, which features teenagers killing each other.
Did violence in movies effect him ? He was self centered and pitied himself.
Obsessive, he had discovered no personal special work he wanted to do.

Do the reports mention the aspergers because they think it likely contributed to this tragedy?
I didn't think people with aspergers were psychotic.

The weapons he bought cost over 3 thousand dollars. He drove a BMW. He bragged about his 300 dollar sunglasses. He was a 22 year old college student, so how did he have money to arm himself, drive a Beemer and buy so much weaponry? What a surprise, divorced wealthy parents. He had two mental health professionals that he was seeing. Guess the parents weren't much use other than to feed his downward spiral. I think they bear much of the guilt for his mental state. Total neglect and buying his friendship despite his mental problems.

3 women die from violence everyday in this country, USA. Why is there a connection between disputes and disagreements and settling those issues by violent means.

In most of these mass shootings, the location the shooter chooses is a gun free zone. Why else pick schools, and military bases. In the case of the Aurora, CO shooting, the shooter did not pick the nearest theater to his home, but instead chose the only theater in the area that banned concealed carry permit holders from attending while armed. No shooter would pick a location where he has a good chance at being stopped immediately.

I bet Wayne La Pierre and the other leadership at the NRA were doing the Happy Dance when they found out the guy who did the shootings purchased the guns legally.

Even though he got the guns legally, does anyone seriously think that someone bent on shooting people would not illegaly obtain firearms?
If I really wanted heroin (illegal) I could get some by this afternoon. If I wanted to buy full auto assault weapons (illegal) I could obtain that as well. All banning things does is make an underground of organized crime to provide illegal products, thus spawning more crime.
