ok- lately i have been reading more and more posts and i see hildabinger and mystikool replying to posts supporting the wts. are they active jw's counting time for repling to posts... am i correct? is that why hilda's name is crossed out? i haven't seen mystikool's name crossed out- but perhaps it is?
and are "trolls" active jw's that come to this forum?
i was once asked if i was a troll in one of my posts when i was longing for my old life. that was a moment of insanity (don't worry, i am better)

When Simon deletes a user, all their old posts have a line through their name. And of course not all active JW's are trolls - I'm one! An active JW, not a troll that is!

I was wondering the same thing. If they are perfect 100% pro Jehovah's Witness, then why are they posting on a web site not approved by the Watchtower Society?

I've been wondering that as well. I remember back when I was an active JW, I'd have taken a bullet before even typing this URL into my browser let alone spending hour upon hour replying to 'apostates'.

Well a lot of folks think being an active JW means agreeing with everything the society says. I dont think it has to mean that. There are many JWs who are pushing for reforms. I think eventually they will get them and that will be pretty cool. One of those reforms is being able to read and post things others say. Once they stop trying to be so controlling, they will find an influx of the old members. Kind of like the illustration the society uses all the time in reference to kids. Like a spring in the hand, if you hold it too long, and too tight it will snap and pop out, flying where you know not. If you release it gradually, it will remain in your hand and under your control. They should start applying that to themselves.

i thought that the 'our kingdom ministry' advised jw's not to be lured into apostate thinking over the internet.
god damn. i wish my mom had the internet.
iwould email her so much apostate things and freak her out.

When I was an active witness, I'd go to any website I wanted to....there isn't a listing of "banned websites", you know. Most of the JW's don't listen to those internet warnings. Only the old school JW's really hate the internet.

Well, going to any anti-JW site used to scare the hell out of me – I almost saw the demons floating out of the screen – and I couldn’t dare look for a second!

I don't think that it is this site's sole intention to be anti-JW; it simply reflects it’s members – it could have turned out like great crowd net couldn’t it? It just kinda worked out this way over the last two years. I would say that any staunch JW that signs up here will find themselves realizing pretty soon that they have been fed a lie by the Watchtower propaganda machine - so it's no wonder the r&f are dissuaded from coming here.
