Baptized in 1974. Faded and inactive almost five years, with no interference from the BOE’s.
Unfortunately my wife is an active JW and chooses to attend all on her own.

Started to fade last July, went back to the Memorial this year but that was for friends only.
Wife left with me, and is totally out too. She wouldn't go to the Memorial even for friends.
Now our kids do normal things like Xmas and birthdays. We're all so much happier now.

Wizzstick, that's good news. I really like hearing about families that leave together and giving their kids an opportunity for a normal life.

Attended the district convention in 2009 and after listening to the generation WT review, then the final talk, I decided that this was the last meeting I would ever attend. I have been inactive since.

RULES & REGULATIONS
Baptised 1976....16 years old...I was told that the ''end'' was near and only baptised members would survive
left 1978.... I was only 18 and would rather hang out with friends than sit in a Kingdom Hall
came back 1980...what a mistake
no more than 8 hours field service
gave # 3 talks.....Elders took me off talks after missing too many meetings
Elders took me off the mics and sound after missing too many meetings
stopped field service in 1985
stopped attending book study 1988
Elders visited me numerous times to try to attend more meetings and field service
have not been to any district assembly or any assembly since 2001
attended 6 meetings in 2010....4 meetings in 2011....0 in 2012....0 in 2013....0 in 2014
Elders have not visited me in 4 years....they gave up on me
I'm never going back!

Whole hearted serving for 18 years, then a 32 yr time
of sink & swim ...'half awake' which almost killed me off,
then 4 yrs ago the straw that finally woke me right up,
the complete failure of "this generation will not pass away".
Went to an assembly ...... didn't even make it to the first
song ....... ran out & never went back!
