So, yesterday I approached the local JW booth that is a few blocks from my house. They are set up on the sidewalk, at the edge of a downtown park.
The display was merely rows of a magazine, with the headline *ARE YOU STRESSED?*
*so, my mind wanders to this:
Well, I wasn't before I saw that, but, now I am stressed! hahaha!
So, I walk up to the pair (young 20-somthings, male and female - he is staring off into space, she is eager for conversation, poor soul) ..
We smile, and I enquire "Are you stressed?"
~ oops, what to say to that?
She smiles uncertainly, and says, sincerely "No, I don't think so. My life doesn't have much stress."
At this point, I felt rather sad for her. I wanted to teach, not to taunt!
So I gestured to the display, and said, "Isn't it stressful to always have to do more?"
Says she "More? What do you mean, more?"
Moi: "More of this. I used to be one of you people. I am sad for you. Take care."
Smiled, and walked away.
Perhaps that will make her take pause. I hope so.
It is hard to know what to say to these people, what will move them to *SEE*.
