The Watchtower's leaders know that storm clouds
are forming above their corrupted heads - and they have
formulated a response.

First, tons of emphasis on Armageddon - rabble rousing
talks at the assemblies, war proves that the End is "very
soon", peace proves that the End is very soon, everything
that happens on earth, good, bad or indifferent proves
the End is near.

Emphasis on authority - GB, elders, and "faithful slave"
obey or die. The new "Worship the Only True God" book
is full of this.

A slicker look - use graphics and pictures in appealing
propaganda that obscures the dim reality beneath.
The new "Youths- What Will You Do With Your Life"
internal tract is really slick and professional -
basically they are guiding Witness kids towards a
choice of Bethel, Gilead, Int'l Building, or Ministerial
Training School. Instead of pounding away against
college, they finally are presenting what they see as
organizational alternatives - a more clever approach.

Finally, the development of "Truth Lite" - slowly
watering down what's expected of Witnesses and
de-emphasizing problematic teachings - 15 minute
publishers and 70 hour pioneers - Bible Studies that
use the Require brochure and watered down Knowledge book.
And I still can't find the blood issue in the new
book "Worship the Only True God" - with new blood cards
dumped, are we going to see this fraud fade away?
If so, I wonder why somebody hasn't pulled back the
Legal Dept. in Canada??

Interesting observations. I don't have any of the new literature, so I can't really comment on those. What little I have read from clips here and there of recent writings is stocked full of self importance and unethical scholarship.

Sadly, most witnesses are completely untrained to pick up on shoddy scholarship and manipulation.

I think what they need is a blast of "new light" to bring Armaggedon closer then ever. The greatest increase of JW's came before 1975 and there's nothing like a date to get new JW's in.

This of course would only be "suggested" in literature, maybe a slight change in chronology or a change in an application of prophecy.

The generation doctrine is now too vague to be of any use in getting new recruits.

This is a very iontesting topic, i and a few others iin my cong have notice this alomost whorship who gov body want, on the asambly day inn the last spech they say, what ever happend trust Jehova, even if it sounds like bad news, waith for jehova to ackt. And sure we now that they say they are ,jehovas woice on earth.
In the lateast littratur like the Isaiah book,they even hade pictures of some of the gov body, i think they are very near to go over the line, isnt there some peopel in the gov body who have there mind clear.
Inn watchtower 1975 i read of the names as come inn 28 of november 1974, it was, Loyd Barry, John Both, Edward Chitty, Charls fekel, Theodor Jaracz, Karl Klein,Albert Shröder, Daniel Sydlik.The rest was innthis time, F Franz,R Franz, K greenless, G Gangas, John Groh.

Some of this is dead, some have left like R franz, Greenless?
perhaps some here can give some uppdate so we now who is the sheep and who is the wolfs, beaucause i am sure we have some wolfs inside the leadarsheep, and jehova will punnish them for this arogant atitud and place themselfs in high positions.

This is a very interesting post. They are becoming more and more of a mind control organization and at the same time trying to become more attractive to the mainstream - more emphasis on respecting the GB, etc, while at the same time possibly changing the stand on blood.

It's just so obvious major re-inventing is happening as we speak - they are morphing - hoping for another century of profitability - and a new wave of members from a new generation of uneducated, disilliusioned, lost, impoverished, beaten down souls.

When I read a post like this I feel so angry. I am so disgusted by people like this. All weekend I have felt such of mixture of tears and bitterness thinking about this organization, the time me and millions have wasted and the unhealthy results of being a part of them. I think of how differently my life may have turned out - and I haven't suffered near what so many have.

Thank you metatron and other posters that tirelessly keep us updated on the lastest. We have to keep their evil history alive - they can't be allowed to squirm from the hands of accountability.

I just wanted to say how much I always enjoy your posts. Of course it is more pleasant to be deluded into believing that the witnesses will crumble, but you present a more realistic alternative - it is frustrating to believe they will continue - morphing just gradually enough that people forget and accept the new and improved but presented with a plan as you have put forward, I believe it all to well.

Did I miss a book? What is this book and when did it come out? Are you referring to "United in Worship of the Only True God"? If so, that's hardly new, it came out almost 20 years ago in 1983.
