Black and Asian people usually have firm facial skin.

Black might not crack, but it sho gets ashy - at least the arms and legs. Is "ashy" a term used everywhere or is it just the blacks in my area that use it? I'm curious. You ever heard that term, snowbird?

(I actually get "ashy" too in the wintertime; it just doesn't show as much on my white skin.)

Oh, yes!

I'm very familiar with that term.

Back in the day, petroleum jelly was the answer for ashiness.

Today, shea butter.

I actually still use petroleum jelly on my shins in the wintertime; it's about the only thing that will stop the itchy dryness. I will have to try shea butter.

I've heard (heard, I said) that White folk's skin smells lemony.

Perhaps someone can come up with something catchy like White don't blight.

That's a new one. Like Pledge lemony, lemon drop lemony or lemonade lemony?

I'm not sure how to make "lemony" into a catchy phrase for caucasions without it sounding ascerbic....
