Hello Kate, thanks for your well wishes. I feel much better just knowing there are many who understand the stranglehold this cult has on people. I feel like I had cancer when I was in then tried to have it removed only to find it sent out feelers to the rest of my body. I can't get rid of it no matter how much i want to. BTW, I have followed most of your story. Kate, you are couragous and inspiring.

I used to get so frustrated and angry, there was no reasoning with my JW family, and no way I could be really free of the cult unless I DA'd.

Something I did not wish to do, and no longer see the point of doing.

I have given up hope that my JW family will see and understand TTATT, and I am totally free of the cult in my mind and heart. I am now relaxed about the whole thing, being realistic as to the what the situation really is.

I am lucky though, and in a privileged position, Mrs Phizzy and my kids are out.

I do empathise with you all who are in a worse position, what an evil cult it is to put ex-members through the heartache and pain that it does.

I am in the final stages of my fade, so perhaps I'll experience a bit of what you're going through - I hope not, because I'd be sorely tempted to let people like that get it right between the eyes with the real truth!!

I am confused - HOW did you remove anything from what

you posted on this site ? I cannot figure out how to do that.

Also I have 2 PMs I will never open from two people who have

sent very snarky messages to me in the past and I cannot delete

any old opened or unopened PM.

Everything on this site just seems to stick like glue

and is not erasable. So please tell me how you took down a post ?

Searcher, Thanks for your concern. I hope your fade proceeds without the drama we have had. FWIW, these realitaves don't care in the least what we think about them or anything else for that matter. Not a single person in hubby's or my family have ever called or written to try to encourage us to return to the WBT$. It's ironic that these people don't want us "in" but won't let us leave in peace!

Hi VillageGirl, The only way a post can be removed is 1: You must have written it. (you can't remove someone elses) 2: You must remove or edit it within the FIRST 30 MINUTES of posting. To do that you must click on the little yellow pencil icon to the right of the screen. After that, I guess it would take a moderator to remove.

Sorry you can't even rant here safely -- JWs don't play fair, do they? They are still loyal dubs, but also members of this site. I guess they use it to spy on you, if they know what your username is.
