Looking forward to the completion of your novel Terry!
This is a CASTING CALL . . . for a scene in my book

The novel is complete. It has been through a rewrite.
I'm placing the names in the character's slots and will probably publish inside the next 24 hours.
I need to do a double-check for editing problems first.
I managed to edit 88 pages out of the text! That hurt--but, story comes first.
You can't afford to fall inlove with your own writing, sniff sniff . . .

Terry, good: the quality of editing can make or break a book.

I know--I've taken a tour of various books which look as though a ninth grader put them together.
I am flabbergasted nobody seems to care what it looks like on the page!
Gasp!
No matter how many times you go through--pass after pass--you always find room for another improvement!

My first college composition teacher told us to use as few words to convey a point as possible. I had a tough time reading Ray Franz because he expressed the same point, different ways, in every paragraph. I realized then why some of the society's books were unreadable.
I've noticed that celebrities sometimes do not allow their books to be edited. I guess it's an ego thing.

Yes, it is really tough to get rid of your own "genius" :(
I removed my favorite chapters, boo hoo. Why? They were beautifully written door stops.

Did Sci-Fi, let me know when it goes on sale. I'll want to buy a copy.
