It not really a transfusion. Transfusion is a combination of the words transplant and infusion. transfusions are intravenous. The stool is administered by enema or through colonoscope directly to the gut and not through a vein. This makes it a transplant. the Pharisees in Brooklyn approve of transplants.

That makes sence to me . I had a problem when I was younger were all my good bacteria was not staying in my stomach or intestines, so I took acidophilus pills but they don't really work because most are from vegetables or cow poop . Finally found some that were made from human poop and they worked great.

I am thrilled that Doctors found something that could help these suffering people.

I would like to read the paper on this... On who in the beginning thought this type of treatment up, and how did he think it might work, and how did they pick people to experiment with.

Let's see. Poster up on local Medical University bulletin board: We would like 2 members from the same family to test a new technique on. (The small print) We will be taking poo from one family member, cleaning it up a bit, then reinserting it into the anus of the other, reaching to put it into their intestines, where we hope it will do them some good. I guess enough people

volunteered for this ground breaking experiment and now it is a beneficial routine procedure. Okay.
