There is no more a man alive born before 1900. There are six or seven women alive that were born 1898-1900. My grandfather was that generation, he fought in WWI on Eastern Front for Austria-Hungary. He is long dead. All my grandparents were born before WWI and they died in 1990's. Generationt that will not die certainly passed away.

I answered in a wt study several months ago re the overlapping generations, and said that "according to the new light we have, the end should be here before approx 2070"

I was shot down immediatly and after the meeting and told that I went beyond the teachings and was wrong! "I led the cong astray" I was told.

BUT the teachings now DO INDEED show that period!

Or have I got it wrong?

The WTS. is solid proof that you can make up fabricated bullshit, put into print and sell it to the

general public. It helps of course too if you do it in a free unregulated country like the US the

Stuckin your answer to their teaching was right but they don't want to hear it. They all want to believe it going to happen very soon. When I last was going it was pitiful to see the older ones moppeing around with sad faces hopeing they will not die but loosing confidence in that hope as reality sets in.

The only problem with that assertion is this NOT what Jesus said.

In bible epistemology the use of (a) generation is used to describe a life time of one person.

Sure some people live pass a 100 years but using a start date of 1914 that time frame is passing very soon.

The proclamation of Christ's return was indulgently done so as a marketing strategy to heighten

attention to the WTS's own published literature.

This had been done before be other religious adventists previously in the 19th century also in the United States.

It was a doctrine that had its purpose and intent, of course now the GB heads are fumbling over it by

twisting something out the bible to prolong the supposed events a little longer into the future.
