7 million members of a religion that think that they will be the only armageddon survivors that will create a global paradise? ... that's just a deluded small minority of humans.
When I became a publisher in April of 1963, there was a new peak of one million publishers. So the org has increased significantly since then. If not for access to information, there would probably be more than 8 million.
Come to think of it, could seven million people really handle the cleanup and burial of almost 7 billion carcasses strewn about all over the world? The WT teaches that perfection would be gradual. So they would still be able to contract deadly diseases from our rotting apostate bodies as they attempt to bury us all.
Add to that the fact that they wouldn't likely be allowed to use any heavy equipment for excavation or transportation.

Yes, it's not a very big number when compared to the entire world population of over 7 billion.
when i left the cult in the early 70's--the number was about a million---of which about 60,000 in the UK--with very little growth here for years.
when i discovered the world of xjw's--in 2010---i was shocked to find it was 7 million. i had expected it to have pretty well died out after the great 1975 failure.

So in the USA after 130+ years...there are only 1+million? not the best return for amount of time!
