.
In that case, I know exactly what I'd donate

HeyThere
They also had a speaker who went on a random speel about pets and not focusing to much attention on pets and that pets are basically just for entertainment and we don't want entertainment and hobbies such as pets to distract our service to jehovah

I don't know if I'd want to count the money that was donated outside of the bathroom.....thats for sure.
I remember the "towel police" at Doger stadium. Guys literally standing there making sure you only took one towel.
I guess free labor is free though.....so why worry about it.
If I had unlimited free labor at my house, I guess I could just have people stand outside my house and catch leaves before they hit the ground. That way I wouldn't have to sweep them all at once.

Billy the Ex-Bethelite
Sounds like something they could sell to lots of other religions once they're done showing it at this series of crapventions. Just trade "New System" for "Heaven".

For example, they show this short video that shows a child dying, shows her father crying as he visits her grave...and then she is reunited with her family in "The New System" and then it shows a handicapped girl who is sad she can't ice skate with friends...fast forward to TNS, she can skate!!! Then an elderly couple is shown happily young again...
Which talk was that in?
I saw the 'resurrection' one shown on Sun. a.m. (Daughter watching mother die; imagining being reunited with her again. Orchestral 'resurrection' k. song played for maximum effect.)

'Hey There', you confirmed my long- held suspicion that someday the GB would proclaim companion-animals to be 'un-necessary'. I certainly HOPE a large percentage of JWs don't fall for that BS, and choose their animals over the Watchtower. JWs for the most part, from my experience, don't treat their animals very well. After all, animals can't go out in service and donate funds to the Organization. I knew an Elder in Texas whose cat had a litter of kittens. They 'dumped' the kittens in a nearby neighborhood. Cruel and heartless!!! Typical!!
