Is your wife attending elsewhere? Not attending her own convention?
Explosive diarrhea...sounds good...unless you tool around town and get spotted.........
Well, one day down, 2 days if you count Saturday...did your wife set spies on you? Can you say you sat in the car and listened to it on the radio and get crib notes from JWN?
I don't know your circumstances and reasons to go, but why not just roll up during breaks and be seen by a few key people...and have a few conversations with key people your wife or local congregation members know.
Then get a program, and find review points from the net, and go back to the hotel or wander around town!
My fade was right in the middle of our district assembly. I spent the program times in my car in the car park listening to CDs & then went in during the brakes to see my wife & kids.
It was a bit odd but it worked as my wife understood that I just couldn't listed to that crap any more but she was crying the days before wondering how she was going to manage without me being there as usual so we made a compromise. It did help to show everyone that something was up though & that help my fade as I gave me the impetus to keep fading.

She's a lot better with all things JW now but still in.
She sees a lot more now but things are slow as she needs time. I don't think she will ever leave but there grip is less on her now. It was super strong but she is a lot more chilled now about the small stuff but I think it's in here blood more that mine (we were both born ins.)

Hey guys thanks for al the comments! I have only been to this convention for half a day. The reason my wife is not attending is because she had to travel outside the USA for family business and I made sure to buy her the plane tickets during our convention. It was to late for her to change her mind when she noticed the timing, naughty mini me lol.
Well tomorrow I will go like I did today during the lunch break and talk with some key people so they can keep their mouths shut when my wife comes back. The only issue is that my wife is coming back with her MOTHER!!! Oh no!! I love my mother in-law very much but she is very indoctrinated and this will not help my plans to escape the WT. Sooner or later I will have to face the music but for now I am just enjoying this weekend without the garbage the WT promotes.

It dose get easier as time goes by. I played it down for a while & when the heat started I kept dodging until they stopped. They new I had a ligit beef with them over something they did wrong so they put 2 & 2 together & made 5, well 5 was fine with me if it kept them of my back & it did. Only ever see them out & about now & I smile & they smile & that's about it.

Yes, just make up some "new" point....they will never notice! Anyway, with the way things change, no matter how strange your made up "new"point is, eventually it will actually become "real" truth!
