Bide your time and check back in with them in 6 months after the love bombing has ended and they have started to get the same treatment at the new congregation and then ask the question about whether they still think the problem is only at the old congregation...

I have done this myself, but not to the extent of changing congs. Left a field service group which had rigid & overbearing elders for one which had a much more pleasant atmosphere

    Ta all for your input.

It is so hard to know what to do and say in these situations, JWs can be a bit like wilderbeast in that they "spook" easy.

Out of everone in my area these too have been voted by me as "the couple most likely to wake up".

So I will bide my time for now as I have a feeling I will be seeing them again one day.

    Thanks again.

Agree with them where possible, and just keep saying things like: "hmm, I wonder how Jesus would have acted in that situation etc"

It will make them see that the org is far removed from any form of "christ-like" love....

I never was a dub, but I think what's described here is quite common to many religions/denominations/sects.

You'll know the old story of the follower of (enter religion here) who was washed up on a desert island. He built two places of worship - one to attend, the other to avoid at all costs.
