Do You Give Personal Information About Yourself On This Site?

Usually if someone PMs me and wants to get in touch I'm already somewhat familiar with them from reading their posts.

If not, I look at their posting history. If they joined yesterday and have posted only a couple of things, then I either ignore them or suggest they take the lead by revealing their identity and contact info. Twice I did that and both times the individuals were never seen on JWN again.

But if someone has a few thousand posts then it's relatively safe to assume they are not a WT spy, especially if they have started threads that includes things like, "The GB can kiss my ass!" But it's still good practice to be careful.

I have only revealed my looks. That's because my twin brother, Brad Pit, isn't getting along with me.

A little bit. Nothing that can I identify me. I try to always remember that this is an Internet forum. The person I communicate with may be a different sex and his/her story all made up. As I am here longer, I trust the regulars more.

I see no need to get into touch with anyone personally, so I will back off, but those that know me and read my posts can easily identify me and there may be even traces of my wotkings linkable from the information past. but it is all for the good.

All that is happening has meaning, live will go on.

If you mean credit card details and social security numbers then no.

But if you mean saying who you really are than why not? If your leading a double life by being here and also still pretending to be a witness (something I will never really understand) I guess one could rationalise that somehow. But if you want to be real and true to yourself than why not just stand up and be counted?

Many here have already wasted large parts of their lives in a false organisation.. why waste what's left still not being who you really are and going to great lengths to conceal yourself? Plenty here show their real identities and what harm has come to them?

Not being true to yourself is far more damaging than anything anyone else can do to you.
