I heard this on the radio today, it apparantly occured in Maryland. A JW at a bus-stop got arrested while preaching to some kids. It wasn't the preaching that got him arrested but the fact that he removed his clothes. coo-coo, coo-coo.

I'm trying to find any articles about the inccident.

Is that what the Apostle Paul meant when he said to the Ephesians that we should present our sword of the spirit?

    Questions from readers:
I have heard that engaging in the preaching work while nude can be far more rewarding and productive. Is this true?

I read this article earlier and I want to comment on something that I have noticed. We all know that certain people are viewing this site (lurking), many before they have the courage to talk up to the society spying. So in light of that I want to make a comment. This article, as in many I have seen posted to discredite JW's, does not outright say it was a JW that did this. It states that this 23 year old went and started talking about JW's. If we read the newspapers we see that many out there that want to get others attention will use what they perceive to be a good attention getter. In the case of this guy, maybe he just knew that JW's preached at bus stops and knew people do listen. I think we need to quit jumping on everything we read, that remotely has the words JW in it and quit applying it without question as being done by JW's. Sure I would love for all of these to be true. But I am sure that a lot of them aren't. Can't we be careful in how we present these things so that it doesn't make us look like the fools because we assume that it was. without a doubt, a witness? To be honest with you, I think it makes us all look like fools out for vengeance.

There must be a logical explanation, after all they are Jehovahs chosen organization. He would never allow such a thing unless there was a valid reason right?!

Wasn't it the great prophet isaiah who took off all his clothes, and kept them off for a year or so? Saul also, shortly after being anointed with the drugged oil to be king, also took off his clothes. Maybe this will be a new way to make their message harder hitting. It certainly garantees 'persecution'. 'Persecution' proves they are right, right?
