Hi guys! Is anyone sensing an increasingly sanctimonious arrogance in J-dubs recently? Im asking this as I am finding that with the two major news stories in the last few weeks (ie. situation in Gaza and Ukraine) is coinciding nicely with the 100 years of kindom rule stuff. Im literally seeing that this is giving them extra vigour in their activities. I have to think of a few counter-arguements to bring them down when they start spouting their usual jive to me.

Hi jk-ton, I would ask them, "How are the current conflicts worse than WWI, WWII, the Korean Conflict, the six-day War, etc.?", "How will you feel after the Ukrainian, Gaza, and Iraq crisis get settled?", and "What would cause you to critically think for yourself instead of blindly repeating what the WTBTS feeds you?"
Peace be with you and everyone, who you love,

This observation adheres to the pattern seen among those who become religiously noisy during scary times. It is as reliable as day following night; it is impossible to get wrong.
Here is the full pattern which is repeated ad infinitum:
Scary events: Wake up;
Lull in scary events: Snooze;
Scary events: Wake up;
Lull in scary events: Snooze
and on and on and on.......

You could always say, " at least Jehovah will have less people to kill during Armageddon. It will usher in the new system faster. How does that make you feel?"
Jehovah's witnesses are emotionally driven people. Therefore, you must reach their emotions, because they aren't really into thinking. That's why the society publishes so many illustrations in their books and magazines. To Keep them child like. If you create an illustration while providing your counter argument it would be useful.

Watchtower Writers Missing Significance of World Events. Ask JW's if they think Russia is the King of the North?
JW’s really ought to take note of what is going on in Ukraine.
