I would love to be the one still in "good standing" ...and show the world what happens when a member steps out and speaks their mind how quickly the horrid organization clamps down and judiciously deals with one of their members....unlovingly kicked to the curb...

I emailed the producer asking for clarification about "identities protected" and this is what she said:

When they speak with me or Skype with me, their identity is protected. Our interviews are private. But if they are cast for the documentary show, we can't blur out a main character (if we are featuring their story). I can always speak to them personally and explain the time line and more about the process.
