ON another forum a JW was defending this as a reasonable thing. No one who didn't realize it just hates god. Girls were never molested or did anything that would break a hymen back in the day. There were no incompetent or very small men (who couldn't break a hymen or couldn't find it) SOOO stoning these girls was a totally reasonable response to her parents not being able to prove her chastity.

There is a common pracitice now of surgical reconstruction of the Hymen for girls of communities that still make a fuss about virginhood, so the husband can never be sure these days if his new bride has been around the block a few times or not.
