My maternal grandparents (became Bible Students in 1920s), paternal grandparents (became JWs in the early 1930s) and both my JW parents (born in the 1930s) are deceased, as are most of their JW siblings. Few of the third generatiom are active witnesses the way their parents were, but for those still affiliated with the organisation, a mixture of pride and research-apathy will stop them from abandoning the religion of their grandparents.

Just from my own limited experience, nearly all those that I know who were active before '75, and did not leave because of it, are still in and fairly active.
People like me who wake up are rare it seems, in this locality.
But we are dying fast us baby-boomers, some of us may have 10 or 15 years left, but my generation will soon be gone.
