Following on from this post - http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/beliefs/282716/1/Is-this-the-big-change - my info is that the Service Meeting items NEXT WEEK ARE to be reduced by 5 minutes each to allow the CoBE to present the secret item to the flock!
Also, no one, not even the CoBE knows what the subject matter is yet.
Everyone here should be ashamed of themselves for making the Glorious Ones in Brooklyn more secretive than Opus Dei or the Freemasons!! :)
So if the COBOE doesn't know how is the information going to come....e-mail, certified letter.
You do realize that congregations meet on different days of the week for the service meeting...are the jws in the one on Tuesday have to keep the secret until Thursday?
I bet the COBOE does know and lies saying he doesn't...........like the elders never keep secrets from the rank and file, NOT!

Basically, the service meeting part referred to in your post is for the UK only. A 15 minute part begging for (what else) more money to build new buildings in the UK.

My initial thought was that it would be some kind of directive to pressure non-participating congs to part with their "surplus funds" in their bank accounts. We'll see.

I told my Jw mum tonight about this begging arrangment that's going to be happening at the meeting soon for the new bethel build and she was horrified. I asked her how much she was going to pledge and she said "5p" followed by "they shouldn't be asking us for money. If they haven't got the finances for it then they shouldn't build it ." I love my mum.
