Phizzy: The teaching is that from 1914 on, any anointed who die are changed "in the twinkling of an eye" to reign with Jesus in heaven. The deceased anointed from previous years (back to the beginning) were also all raised up in 1914. This seems to contradict Paul, who wrote the "twinkling" verse about his own expectations on what would happen immediately when he and other contemporary Christians died.

They are banking on the 1000 years of satan's sentence, the rule of the saints to run concurrently, with a mixed up STORY, anything goes.
There is enough Kingdoms in the bible to make you feel over-ruled.

No. JWs say that Jesus has had a kingdom (not the Messianic Kingdom) over the anointed since the first anointing took place in 33 C.E.

“The Kingdom of the Son of His Love.” Ten days after Jesus’ ascension to heaven, on Pentecost of 33 C.E., his disciples had evidence that he had been “exalted to the right hand of God” when Jesus poured out holy spirit upon them. (Ac 1:8, 9; 2:1-4, 29-33) The “new covenant” thus became operative toward them, and they became the nucleus of a new “holy nation,” spiritual Israel.—Heb 12:22-24; 1Pe 2:9, 10; Ga 6:16.
Christ was now sitting at his Father’s right hand and was the Head over this congregation. (Eph 5:23; Heb 1:3; Php 2:9-11) The Scriptures show that from Pentecost 33 C.E. onward, a spiritual kingdom was set up over his disciples. When writing to first-century Christians at Colossae, the apostle Paul referred to Jesus Christ as already having a kingdom: “[God] delivered us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love.”—Col 1:13; compare Ac 17:6, 7.
Christ’s kingdom from Pentecost of 33 C.E. onward has been a spiritual one ruling over spiritual Israel, Christians who have been begotten by God’s spirit to become the spiritual children of God. (Joh 3:3, 5, 6) When such spirit-begotten Christians receive their heavenly reward, they will no longer be earthly subjects of the spiritual kingdom of Christ, but they will be kings with Christ in heaven.—Re 5:9, 10.
Jesus began to rule under The Messianic Kingdom in heaven in 1914, but his rule has been and is in the midst of his enemies. Once those enemies are removed (Armageddon and abyssing of Satan and demons), the 1000-yr reign can begin. The millenium is a time during which the kingdom has complete control over earth without interference from any enemies.
I don't know whether they've changed this in the last year or two, but fairly recently they said that the resurrection of the anointed began in 1918.

Magnum might be right that it's 1918 and not 1914, but keep in mind that the anointed are not the same as the slave class as a whole. If an anointed one dies faithful, then they completed their earthly course. They're locked in for heaven. It has nothing to do with the performance of the slave class in carrying out their duties on Earth.

Splash - JWs say the resurrection of the anointed began in 1918 (3.5 years after 1914). Are you thinking of the inspection of the spiritual temple? That was supposed to have occurred in 1918, too.

A Swift and Sudden Restoration
13 Isaiah prophesies: “There is a sound of uproar out of the city, a sound out of the temple! It is the sound of Jehovah repaying what is deserved to his enemies.” (Isaiah 66:6) In the original fulfillment of these words, “the city” is Jerusalem, where Jehovah’s temple is located. The “sound of uproar” implies the tumult of war, which is heard in the city when the invading Babylonian armies assault it in 607 B.C.E. What, though, about the modern-day fulfillment?
14 These words in Isaiah harmonize with two other prophetic utterances, the one recorded at Ezekiel 43:4, 6-9 and the other at Malachi 3:1-5. Both Ezekiel and Malachi foretell a time when Jehovah God comes to his temple. Malachi’s prophecy shows that Jehovah comes to inspect his house of pure worship and to act as a Refiner, rejecting those who misrepresent him. Ezekiel’s vision depicts Jehovah as entering the temple and demanding that all traces of immorality and idolatry be removed. In the modern-day fulfillment of these prophecies, there was an important spiritual development in 1918 in connection with Jehovah’s worship. Jehovah and Jesus evidently made an inspection of all of those claiming to represent pure worship. That inspection led to the final casting off of corrupt Christendom. For Christ’s anointed followers, the inspection meant a brief period of refinement followed by a swift spiritual restoration in 1919.—1 Peter 4:17.
