I used to have breakfast with him every day. If you catch my drift.

Musto,
When I was involved with the local building project, I thought that the packaged plan ideas for decorating was a good idea along with a standardizing the KH building plans.

Ray Franz has my vote.
We sat together and talked quite a bit over lunch on my visit to Bethel. From what I remember, he was very sincere kind and warm back then. It seems he hasn’t changed a bit in all these years.

Musto,
Yeah, but the bros. that I dealt with on the regional committee were/are jerks. Couldn't care less about the quality of the purchased items, just as long as it was the cheapest. Perhaps not jerks but definately single minded.
But the local bro. & sis. who put together the interior color schemes did a great job.
Rule number one when building a KH, use as many local people to do the work as possible. The end result will tell you why. :)
Oh, and rule number two, people can't learn brick laying on-the-job. The walls on the KH were about as even as the Grand Canyon. -

I was always fond of Brother Doas Isay. I found it a great comfort to not have to think for myself. Just when I thought the Watchtower article was confusing he would provide me with the resource material I needed to prove his point.

I met J. Barr and Fred Franz and N.H.Knorr and I think the most visiblely humble individual was J. Barr. I also met Leo Greenlees when he was in the Toronto Bethel years ago.
