Hmm, yes, sign a petition to encourage the reckless endangerment of children. Did you forget how highly the WBTS value potential martyrs for the cause? Some people have very short memories.

The organization in the UK have put out a very brief media release that simply states this does not appear related to blood transfusion refusal.

    Hey Guys:

This guy Brett has COJONES! The public outcry is loud and clear here in the UK.

The Kings have committed no crime, yet a European warrant has been issued for their arrest and Southampton Hospital has put Child Protection order in place.

The Kings had every right to go. They are not social parasites. They have a home in Spain they are willing to sell in order to fund treatment, available in Prague, Czech republic or in Houston, USA.

Any desperate parent would do the same! If they are brought back to the United Kingdom... the poor mite will be denied Proton therapy. It will be available in 2018. We are in the third world when it comes to Cancer treatment and care.

Parents... give them all the support you can and most of all have sweet thoughts and concern for what poor 5 year old Ashya is going throught... alone, in a hospital room, under guard.... hearing a language he cannot understand.

Tricky. Southampton General is, IMHO, a pretty crappy hospital when it comes to communication. And if you see your child apparently not being given the care / consideration that it's entitled to, then it's quite likely you'd just walk rather than spend hours justifying why you're removing your child. On the other hand, the CPS spokesman says they have information on the parents that they're not prepared to divulge just yet. We're missing a lot of esential info here.

So it's okay to bodily remove your very ill child from hospital, whisk them away to another country and engage in social media special pleading? Hold on folks - all will soon be revealed.

I hope there is nothing being held back from us steve, but on the face of it these parents have been treated abysmally by the heavy hand of the law.

There is a petition with over 93,000 signatures being handed in to Downing Street.

I hope with Mr Cameron's sad experience of losing his own 6 year old severely disabled son Ivan, he will understand what Aysha's mum & dad have gone through trying to find the very best treatment for him.

Petition signed this morning. It's time to stand by Parental RESPONSIBILITIES in stead of massaging the Egos of those who feel they can decide whether we live or die.

What bullies to put a Child Protection Order in place... no doubt waiting for the child to be repatriated and carrying out a procedure against the Parent's wishes.

It would appear that there is great public outrage over this thuggery... and Medical/Policing policies should be reviewed.

We wish Ashya all the best

What bullies to put a Child Protection Order in place... no doubt waiting for the child to be repatriated and carrying out a procedure against the Parent's wishes.

What's paramount here is what's in the child's best long-term interests for survival, not the parent's 'wishes'.

No matter how sincere their intentions and distress, parents can't just be allowed to take off on a secretive 1,000 mile long journey with a critically ill child needing constant medical supervision. Children are not a piece of property owned by parents.

So do you believe that if parents did not wish for any emergency blood transfusion to be adminstered to their child and the doctors got a court protection order to enable them to administer blood, that would be bullying and thuggery against the parents wishes?

That is a valid point to make yadda regarding emergency blood transfusion but that is not the case regarding Aysha.
