As an aside, mustard seeds are not that small (1mm to 2mm), and the plants aren't that large.

ex-jws tend to call these "flip-flops" or a version of that
There are some that are 180 degree changes and a few that are 360 degree changes (organ transplants and superior authorities)

The infamous tacking boat.
Even with this example, a reversal (180 degrees) or a return to an older teaching (360 degrees) will get the boat nowhere.
