My mom tried to guilt me this winter and I pulled out jw.org on my phone and she started to panic when I refuted her right from the website
Nothing really new here - the Writing Staff has promulgated a fake 'moderate' image of JW's while the Service Dept. enforced Nazi-like rules.
That said - and given the ease with which such contrary info can be found - it's getting interesting.... I believe the more firmly bonded they get to the internet, the more likely it is that they are evolving towards becoming a nice, half-burned our Protestant sect like Methodists.

They have been pulling this kind of crap for years in the form of the public awake verses the study watchtowers.
If you only ever read the public awake you could conclude that they are performing a public service.
Wow, this is very sickening to see.... There is a clear difference between JW.org and the WT study articles. I've never read in a WT about setting education goals, etc...!
I am definitely going to start finding stuff on JW.org to use to my advantage esp. since their writing apparently trump the bible!
