Hate to break it to you, but they don't read DA letters. You would simply be announced as "No longer a Jehovah's Witness."

Jgnat,
Your correct,,,,what I meant is if I send in a DA letter then They would have to announce Im no longer one of them. It would hit my family like a ton of bricks. Thanks,

Speed ...so sorry that this has happened to you too!
An familiar evil story.
When the shun becomes overt, and undeniable......
I felt gutted.....and no doubt you did too.
Hang in there and really dig for the truth about
everything you are not sure about.
Glad you have your wife & sons...so there is
some immediate comfort for you.
There are many newbies coming on here
everyday, so you have good company.
Welcome & best wishes to you & the Mrs.

never a jw
Welcome speedracer,
I was born in the same decade as you. I have never been a JW but I have taken a very serious interest in JW's since my daughter got baptized two years ago.
If you want to get deeper into JW's deception, I highly recommend that you read The Gentile Times Reconsidered by Carl Olof Jonsson. That may get you even deeper into other subjects such as history of antiquity, archaelogy, ancient calendars, the Bible, and definitely JW's. Any of the subjects I just listed will in turn catch your interest and get you even deeper into very interesting stuff such as Bible Scholarship and history of Christianity and Judaism. There's no end to how far you can go once you start learning TTATT.
