I remember not long after my exit quoting something to my parents from the Proclaimers book. My mum responded by sarcasticly asking my dad, "and how old is the Proclaimers book?"

My wife said the same thing about a WT article I referenced. ?????

Shouldn't WT literature be obligated to have printed on it a "Best Before Date?"

I wish my mum had some cognitive dissonance! She has NONE. If you mention anything to her, you get "well you aren't a lover of jehovah, so what would you know?" Or if you show her an article from the dubs own stash, its "You're twisting the words of the governing body, and therefore not acting in spirit and truth."

She literally looks down her nose at you as if she is a special possesion.

iTS INFURIATING!!! I could just walk away and do the reverse shun. But i've decided to give it one more year. I would like to know my REAL mum. 2015 is the year my mum finds out who she is.

I wish you all the best with that GA. I think my mother is leaning to that mind set but there's definitely something there, where I believe she's had to think twice about things.
