IS(IS) is different from the Taliban. Even Osama Bin Laden was afraid of them which should say something. Also... There are people from other countries who are willing to fight in Syria and take all their family with them. ISIS has a shitload of money, knowledge and advanced weaponry. They are a serieus threat.

Yes. I tend to believe people when they threaten my life.
Glad we do not live in a major metro area. Would not be surprized to see a minor Nuke, or Bio terror attempt in a major City with political significance- London, Washington, Atlanta, NYC, etc. A stolen jet with a small "lost" nuke could cause a regional EMP. No electronics & internet for weeks.
IMO Not having a week or two of water, cash, & supplies on hand on 9/11 is foolhardy...like cancelling all your insurance policies....

Do you mean the 10,000 pieces of feces over in Iraq? How exactly would they get all the way over here? Conquer the hundreds of thousands of soldiers in Europe then take their ships? Or build lawnmower airplanes and attempt to fly thousands of miles over here without being shot down on the way?
Let the 50 countries all over that area and all of Europe worry about them first. They'll never come close to launching an attack here.
Anything that happens inside this country from somebody already here will have been 'allowed' to happen.

The frightening fact is the current administration has no intention of "getting involved" even when US soil (the embassey) is attacked and and US officials and milirary are killed. Not even when now two US Journalists are made example of while isis beheads these men and taunts the US. Not when thousands of innocents are slaughtered, tortured, kidnapped, and even children are beheaded, slowly, in an extremely cruel way. Isis knows the US allows it so they will continue thier actions and threats.
I also agree with others posting that GB is in even more danger right now.

Don't be so naive nonjwspouse. Why do you think Al Qaeda never tried anything again. Do you know how easy it is to make and smuggle a dirty nuclear bomb onto the American mainland? Al Qaeda could have done it ages ago if they really wanted to.
If the Islamic State blew up the Whitehouse or the Pentagon or similar, the US would absolutely target Mecca.
Remember Pearl Harbour? Remember two atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki?
If IS tried anything like 9/11 on American soil it would be their demise, big time. And probably a third world war with Islam being the loser.
