After reading a great article and video by Mr John Cedars on his website:

It raised a very simple and straightforward question:

If Jesus Christ is supposedly the wisest, most perfect, understanding, discerning, knowledgeable, greatest man to ever walk the earth and in the universe why would it take him almost five years to determine wether or not the JW CULT was the chosen one?

Auxiliary questions:

Between Jesus and God shouldn't it have only taken a split second, better yet shouldn't they have already known that?

Are the JW CULT saying Jesus and God are so dense they needed several years to think and ponder over it to figure it out?

To add to this with C.T. RUSSELLS beliefs in pyramidology, the occult, and freemasonry, and then being buried on a Masonic site to this day with a pyramid tombstone with the WBATS initials and the Masonic crown and cross inscribed on it, along with his many false predictions, your telling me Jesus along with God still chose this group???

The JW answer to that question is that he wasn't only inspecting them he was also refining them and given that they're puny imperfect humans he had to refine them at a slow pace that they can handle.

prolog and smiddy great points! I guess Jesus had his doubts about the JW CULT himself, was on the fence for a couple years, and was possibly threatend with disfellowshipping by C.T. RUSSELL himself if he didn't obey and be blessed, so he decided to just go along with it and choose them as being the FDS. It almost sounds plausible...

for JW's the answer is always "heart condition"

the WTS wasn't anywhere near "truth" as they define it today, but of course they couldn't be until after they would become the faithful slave since they would not have had holy spirit. They could only have been chosen by their heart condition since they could never have truth

any JW could dance circles around these types of questions. The BOrg uses these same sweeping statements like "heart condition" to brush aside questioning for everything and anything
