Lying about Shunning! jw.org conceals the "truth"

Compare that statement above with their mandated instructions to witnesses to shun their family below.

Now if you point that out to a JW or elder, they might say, "Well the JW.org is talking about somebody who is 'inactive'", at which point you can point out that the FAQ question are "FORMER MEMBERS" and that inactive is NOT a former member. Former member is only DA or DFed.

Then for the family section, they may say, "it's referring to those who live in the same house, even though it's not specifically mentioned", in which case you can ask who is the FAQ for, interested people or active JW's? In which case they must say interested ones, then ask them based upon the answer on family, will a complete outsider think the family part applies to only those living in the same building or to all family based on how it's worded?

It's outright bait and switch, lying deceit. According to JW doctrine, "apostates" twist the truth. And Satan is the master of deceit and lies. So according to JW doctrine, the writers and authority of JW.org, (the GB) are all apostates.

Of course they would leave out the fact of them DFing people and shunning them if they left on disagreement with doctrines.

Particularly when it concerns family.

The WTS has always been a bit secretive to the public about what they do to people who don't follow in strict obedience to their rules and governance.

yeah, outright lies that they tell to outsiders while telling members opposite things from the platform.

What goes on in Kingdom Halls bears little relation to how they try to portray themselves.

If you read their glossy brochures you'd imagine they are a peaceful, loving and caring bunch - not the vindictive and cruel hypocrites that infest every hall.

this is the last paragraph of the article (I would ask people whose sons and daughters shun them if this last paragraph is accurate)

"What of a man who is disfellowshipped but whose wife and children are still Jehovah’s Witnesses? The religious ties he had with his family change, but blood ties remain. The marriage relationship and normal family affections and dealings continue."
