When you are among the "enemy" whoever that is, it is best to "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."
I'm uncomfortable with the lables you get inside religious groups. It becomes a habit of mind. The vile: "apostate". The "atheist". The "goats."
I slipped into a bad habit for many years. Ever heard the old saying, "What you hate, you become?"
I was becoming just as spiteful as the JW's.
The only way I could try and pull away from that was to give others a lot more room to "adjust" to who they are and who they want to be.
If Sarahsmile is JW, she wouldn't be on the "apostate" sites unless she sees enough friendliness and compassion, and less judgment than inside
the Kingdom Hall. If I label her a "troll" I am painting a target. Why would I do that unless she had overtly threatened?
All we can do is remember to be a "hospital" rather than a courtroom.
