When people usually ask for another opinion on some major issue in their life, it usually means they're kind of hesitant on a few things, so, if you listen to your gut you'll do the right thing.

I do not recommend you marrying this person. I too am married to a JW who did not take her religion too seriously before and sometime after our marraige. Then she went running back to the bOrg after we had one child and another on the way. I will say she is more reasonable and more liberal than some of the others I read about but it was difficult for a while.

It might work out for you but why bother with such an iffy scenario? I would start setting boundaries with her now with the first one being that you two have to talk about things that concern you and set boundaries on how you will raise any kids you have together. Sadly, if she is anything like my wife, she will break boundaries later to get what she wants at your expense.

My husband broke boundries he promised not to break. It was because of the WT influence. It is huge, and pervasive as cancer on a relationship.

When in doubt? Don't make any decisions. You are the "maker" of your life, choose wisely.

FLASH!!!!!! GET AS FAR AWAY FROM THAT WOMAN AS POSSIBLE!!! THEY'LL ALWAYS GO RUNNING BACK TO THE ELDERS AT SOME POINT. SAME ADVICE GOES FOR A WOMAN WANTING TO MARRY AND HAVE A CHILD WITH A JW-INFLUENCED GUY. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! FIND A PERSON TO MARRY WHO HAS NO CONNECTION TO THE JWs OR ANY OTHER HARD-CORE RELIGION. YOU WANT TO MARRY A PERSON, NOT A RELIGION!!!!!
