I'm here off and on, don't post as much as I used to. I'm moving away from an exJW identity, I guess. I do like to keep up with the scandals though

I come and read threads every day; I post replies at least 1-2 per week; I start topics rarely, once in 3 months or more.

I check every couple of days or so- looking for an intelligent- or at least a SEMI-intelligent topic- and usually find none...buncha whiny Losers, it appears...

You are the only one whining on this thread, if you don't like it go back to Topix.

I check in a few times each day.

I guess it really is a sort of lifeline to a broader world.

Dont get me wrong, I live a busy life...work a busy job full time, yet it is important to me to keep in touch with fellow forum members and topics.

I came here once, many years ago. Thinking it was a website for Still In Jehovah's Wittnesses. I was so silly, I thought the member Terry was just being sarcastic about dates and prophecies. But just to be safe, I left and never came back till I came to my own conclusions and awakenings, again, many years later.

At that point it became one of my sources of comfort. I checked it every single day, and posted where I could. When I thought it was necessary, not absolutely, but somewhat. (I remember one time staying up almost all night, consuming all the knowledge I could. It tasted wonderful. I think we all had that moment. Just this blast of realization. You're not sure if you feel good or not, but you feel like you are understood for once. )

It has helped in so many ways. But after awhile, there is only so much to decipher, and it seems the same topics crop up over and over, just with new members. But every once in a while something spectacular happens. You read a personal story that touched you. You hear of reports, arguments, despair, hope. Just Outsiders being there for one another.

I'm grateful to this site, and wish it continued success. I visit frequently, I just don't post all that much.
