I think its because some of the bibles original writtings were talking about two gods Enlil and Enki. One was overall decent the other was an ass, and when the jews started pushing monothiesm they combind the two in to one.
So why the double standards for God?

That God and that Bible are not worth a minute of our time. He's a psychopath, and I feel that those that follow him have a good chance of being one also.

Yes, if we are made " in gods image" , then I could just randomly kill someone who disagrees with me?
